We’re excited to see everyone settled in and ready for the upcoming certifications in our programs.
Across the entire building, students are being trained in First Aid, CPR, AED, EpiPen administration, and Narcan use. After successful completion, they will be awarded a two-year certification card. They also receive 2 college credits from Big Bend Community College free of charge.
Our Culinary students are taking their ServSafe test today, a nationally recognized food safety certification. Additionally, our café opened this week.
OSHA 10 certification training will begin soon for students in Automotive, Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Flight programs.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medical Assistant students will take their certification exams in the spring.
Manufacturing students who are prepared will also take their welding certification tests in the spring.
This week, Video Game Programming students visited Valve, Steam, and Digipen, prestigious gaming companies, thanks to funding from the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club.
Cosmetology students will take their written and practical state exams when they complete the required hours for Barbering, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Manicuring.

CBTECH is a great place to learn and have fun! Be sure to check out our Facebook page to see what we’re up to every week!
