From menu planning to food prep, students will be immersed in real-world  learning experiences. Local restaurants and hospitality companies are  instructional partners, sharing industry knowledge and current trends. Kitchen  procedures, sanitation and safety, estimating, budgeting, advanced baking,  advanced cookery, catering, barista training and cafe management will all be  covered. This two-year course of study will provide the knowledge and  experience applicable to working in all types of restaurants, cafes, coffee  shops, catering companies and food related entertainment. Students can earn  industry certifications from the WA State Food Handlers Program and the NRA  ServSafe Management Course Training.
