Looking Ahead: A Director's Message to Our Community
At CBTECH, we are excited to introduce new initiatives aimed at preparing our students for a successful future.

First, we are emphasizing the importance of financial literacy by educating students on the benefits of investing early and starting to save for retirement—even if it's just a few dollars a week. With the average retirement age rising, we want our students to be as financially prepared as possible.

We have also integrated a new language component into our Work Wednesday sessions, teaching a Spanish word or phrase each week. This is especially important because 52% of our students are Hispanic, and 30% of our parents speak only Spanish. Understanding and speaking Spanish can provide a significant advantage in the workplace, and we want our students to be equipped with this valuable skill.

Since our founding in 2014, we’ve consistently focused on improving attendance. This year, we are proud to announce that 25% of our students have achieved perfect attendance. Additionally, 60% of our students have earned A’s, and 22% have B’s in the first quarter. For those who are struggling, we are dedicated to providing the support they need to succeed.

As always, we value your input. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
