Registration Night

Dean of Students Message:

CBTECH is off to a great start this year. We currently have 443 students from 10 high schools in Grant County, as well as Othello. This is the most students we have ever had.

We are currently in the process of teaching about the book “Make Your Bed” written by Admiral William McRaven. In the book Admiral McRaven highlights some of the lessons he learned in Navy Seal training. We feel that these lessons are valuable to all students. If we can assist our students in creating or improving positive habits, we will help them be successful now and into the future.

Our Motto at CBTECH is “On time, Everyday, with a Positive Attitude”, we are really focusing on the first two parts of this motto. We expect our students to work hard to live up to this motto. Our industry partners need employee’s that that will show up on time and everyday. Showing up to school on time and everyday is very important to the success of our students.

This year, for the first time, we will have a REGISTRATION night for the 2023-24 school year. This event will be held February 2, 2023 at CBTECH from 2:00-5:00 PM. All students who want to attend CBTECH are encouraged to attend this event. Each school is guaranteed a certain amount of seats in each class.

If a student wants one of those seats the best chance is to be at the registration night. We will create wait lists at this time for students who may not make the initial list. After registration night we will be able to review a student's High School and Beyond Plan and look into their attendance history to see if the student will be a good fit for our program. There will be more details coming soon.
